Join us in defending freedom of expression and promoting literature in Finland and internationally!
Members of Suomen Kirjailijaliitto, Finlands Svenska Författareförening, Suomen Näytelmäkirjailijaliitto, Finlands Svenska Dramatikerförbund, the Finnish Critics Association and the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL), and persons with other recognised achievements in the cultural field, who commit to acting in accordance with PEN Finland’s purposes can apply for membership.
Come and meet writers, journalists and other members at PEN Finland’s events.
Come and listen to presentations about current issues, discussions and international visitors.
You can participate in PEN Finland’s activities by for example joining in the work of the committees. Our activities are based on volunteer work.
All members receive PEN Finland’s members letter and information about PEN Finland’s and its partner organisations’ events.
Membership fee
The membership fee is 40 euro annually (unemployed 20 euro).
Application
Submit the application form together with a concise CV. The board will consider your application at its next meeting.
